A Visit to the Beauticians Felice kindly offered to book me an appointment with the beautician that his mum goes to. He phoned me during his lunch hour from work to tell me that he'd made the appointment. I was slightly concerned though when it sounded as if he'd made me an appointment with the anaesthetist! I was about to ask him why he thought I needed to go to the hospital (was there some necessity for me to do so that I didn't yet know about?) when I realised what he meant! The Italian word for beautician is estetista; an easy mistake to make I think, they certainly sounded remarkably similar over the telephone anyway!
