A Flowery Story Not really been a flowery type of girl, when we went to the florists to have a chat with the proprietor, a man with curly hair in his 30's, he went into great detail about what he could do for us. I almost wanted to say "I just want something nice and am happy to leave the rest to you!" But apparently once I have organised the style and colour of my dress we need to go back and discuss the type of flowers that would be appropriate. I find myself not really getting enthused about it though. As long as we don't end up with a bunch of weeds, anything's pretty much fine by me. To follow up, I now have the design and colour of my wedding dress organised - its a lovely icy pink and has an overlay of organza in parts with three small roses pulled in at the waist. After a return trip to the florists I decided on white roses with a pink trim which I'm sure has a particular name but like I've said, I'm not the flowery sort, but it will go nicely with the dress!! The florist had a look at the design of my dress taken from a magazine and with Felice well and truly out of view, the four ladies that were also in the shop, ages ranging from about 8 to 80, all decided they wanted to take a look at the dress too. Much cooing followed and everyone agreed I had chosen well and it was a lovely colour!
