The Honeymoon

With all the festivities finished it was time for Felice and I to relax on our Egyptian honeymoon.  We arrived in Sharm El Sheikh to plenty of heat despite it being after 9 pm.

Our Italian village was bright, clean and extremely nice with a big swimming pool that overlooked the private beach and ocean.  It couldn’t have been more relaxing.

We spent time in the Jacuzzi, sunbathing and dipping in and out of the water.  We went shopping in Naama Bay, the main shopping area where shopkeepers try and pull you into their shops to buy something when they’re not attempting to be your next best friend.  It was here that Felice had the occasional offer for me in exchange for camels but naturally he turned them down every time!

We went riding through the desert on a 4 wheel mini jeeps that reminded me of a Star Wars film, well either that or Thelma and Louise because of the headscarf I had wrapped around my head to keep the dust at bay!  We also experienced a camel ride and witnessed how the Beduin people live.

It was a holiday to remember and probably the most stress free and relaxing I've ever had.
